The Blue Scent is a compact, bushy shrub known for its grey-green leaves and slender, upright stems that produce dense, terminal spikes of fragrant lavender-blue flowers. This variety is particularly notable for its ability to flower in the first year.

To sow the seeds, begin in weeks 6 to 8 at a temperature of 18 °C. Afterward, provide a cold treatment for three weeks at 1 °C. Use standard sowing conditions with a thin layer of moist (but not wet) cover. Germination requires a cold period, so it is essential to keep the seeds moist and covered with plastic.

Transplant the seedlings into individual pots during weeks 13 to 15. Continue to grow them at a temperature of 15 °C in full sun.
